The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Social Affairs, Labour and Housing Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Hassan Al-Dhabit Al-Dossari, Chair of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee continued its study of the request for a general discussion on the importance of the role of parents in raising children, which had been referred to it by the Council, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Khalifa bin Essa Al-Kubaisi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development and Family; Engineer Jaber Rashid Al-Nuaimi, Executive Director of the Family Consulting Center “Wifaq”; and Mr. Fadhel Mohammed Al-Kaabi, Acting Executive Director of the Social Protection and Rehabilitation Center “Aman,” in addition to a number of officials from those entities, who responded to the inquiries and remarks of Their Excellencies members regarding the aforementioned matter.
At the conclusion of its meeting, the Committee decided to continue its study of the topic at a forthcoming meeting.
