Health and Public Services Committee Continues Study of the Prevalence of Obesity among Children

The Committee on Health, Public Services and the Environment of the Shura Council held a meeting today via videoconference, chaired by His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser bin Turki Al-Subaie, Chair of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee continued its study of the request for a general discussion on “the prevalence of obesity among children in the State of Qatar,” in the presence of a number of specialists from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, who responded to the inquiries and remarks of Their Excellencies members regarding the aforementioned matter.
At the conclusion of its meeting, the Committee decided to continue its study of the topic at a forthcoming meeting.
