The Arab Parliament held Wednesday the meetings of the third session of the second legislative term at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League to discuss topics, reports and recommendations prepared by Arab Parliament's four permanent committees at their preparatory meetings on Tuesday.

The State of Qatar participates in the meetings with a delegation of members of the Advisory Council.

The meetings discuss the draft resolutions prepared by the Palestine committee on the empowerment of UNRWA to continue providing its services to Palestinian refugees according to its UN mandate after the United States stopped its contribution to the Agency's budget.

The meetings also review the recommendations of the sub-committee to study the proposed legislation for guiding food security in the Arab world and the project to attract Arab capital in the Arab world.

The Arab Parliament also discusses during the session the draft resolution on the "Masam" project on demining in Yemen and the report of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights on the situation of human rights in Yemen and the positions, conclusions, and recommendations of the experts' group.
