The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Yousuf Al-Mana, Chair of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee discussed a draft law granting exemption to certain transactions of foreign companies with military entities and their owned companies from income tax, and decided to submit its report thereon to the Council.
The Committee also reviewed the esteemed Government’s statement regarding the motion of desire expressed by the Shura Council concerning support for national and foreign investment, which had been referred to it by the Council. At the conclusion of the meeting, the Committee decided to submit its report, including its opinion on the aforementioned statement, to the Council.
