The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Financial and Economic Affairs Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by His Excellency Mr. Mohammed bin Yousuf Al-Mana, Chair of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee discussed a draft law amending certain provisions of Decree-Law No. (24) of 2019 regulating and managing the strategic stockpile of food and consumer goods.
The Committee also discussed a draft law amending certain provisions of Law No. (25) of 2018 concerning the Excise Tax, which had been referred to it by the Speaker of the Council, in accordance with the provisions of Article (114) of the internal regulations of the Shura Council.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Committee decided to continue its study of both matters at its upcoming meetings.
