The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Health, Public Services, and Environment Committee of the Shura Council held a meeting today, chaired by H.E. Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser bin Turki Al-Subaie, Chairman of the Committee.
During the meeting, the Committee continued its review of the request for a general discussion on the “prevalence of childhood obesity in the State of Qatar,” in the presence of representatives from the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, who attended remotely. The representatives responded to the inquiries and remarks raised by Their Excellencies the members regarding the aforementioned topic.
At the conclusion of its meeting, the Committee decided to continue its consideration of the matter at a forthcoming meeting.
