Advisory Council Speaker Meets International Parliamentarians on Sidelines of IPU General Assembly

HE Speaker of the Advisory Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud met separately with HE Speaker of the African Parliamentary Union (UPA) Cipriano Cassama, HE President of the Latin American and Caribbean Group Rodolfo Urtubey, and HE Ivan Flores Garcia, member of the Chilean Parliament and head of the Qatari-Chilean Friendship Committee. The meetings took place on the sidelines of the meetings of 139th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU).
The meetings discussed the relations between the State of Qatar and the UPA, the Latin American and Caribbean Group and the Republic of Chile and ways to support, develop and strengthen them, in addition to discussing the most important topics on the agenda of the 139th IPU General Assembly.
A number of Advisory Council members attended the meetings.
