The General Secretariat of the Shura Council reviewed today its Strategic Plan 2025–2030, as part of its efforts to develop institutional performance supporting legislative work, with the attendance of department directors and staff of the General Secretariat.
The plan, scheduled for official launch in November, aims to enhance administrative and technical performance efficiency in the General Secretariat, support Council Members in performing their legislative and oversight duties, consolidate governance principles, and expand institutional partnerships and community outreach in line with the objectives of Qatar National Vision 2030.
On this occasion, H.E. Mr. Naif bin Mohammed Al Mahmoud, Secretary-General of the Shura Council, stressed that the strategic plan, once implemented, will represent a qualitative leap in institutional development, noting that it “will constitute an ambitious roadmap to enhance performance efficiency and elevate the institutional work environment to keep pace with developments and effectively support parliamentary work.”
He added: “During the preparation of the plan, we were keen to ensure it is comprehensive and executable, adopting clear performance indicators and qualitative initiatives based on innovation and digital transformation, and grounded in internationally recognized best administrative practices.”
