Parliamentary Career

  Member of the Shura Council, First Legislative Term (2021–2025).
  Reappointed as a Member of the Shura Council in the Second Legislative Term pursuant to Amiri Decision No. (42) of 2025, issued on 9 October 2025.
  Has served on several Council committees; he currently serves as a Member of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee, and a Member of the Committee on Education, Culture, Youth, Sports and Media.

Professional Experience

  Mr. Al-Misnad began his career as an engineer at the Ras Abu Aboud Power and Desalination Plant. He progressed through various leadership roles, including:
Project Manager of the Ras Abu Fontas Plant.
  Director of the Electricity Distribution Department at Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa).
  Director of the Contracts Services Department.
  He was appointed as:
  Director of Infrastructure Affairs at the Public Works Authority (Ashghal).
  Director of Technical Affairs at the Authority for Integrity and Transparency.
  Chief Commercial Operations & Procurement Officer at Qatar Rail.
