Academic Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree in Arts, major in Sociology, Qatar University.

Parliamentary Career

  Member of the Shura Council (2017–2021).
  Member of the Shura Council, First Legislative Term (2021–2025).
  Reappointed as a Member of the Shura Council in the Second Legislative Term pursuant to Amiri Decision No. (42) of 2025, issued on 9 October 2025.
 Has served on several Council committees; he currently serves as a Member of the Internal and External Affairs Committee.

Professional Experience

  Mr. Al-Shahwani worked at the Ministry of Education, then at the Ministry of Finance and Economy, and later at the Qatar Media Corporation.
He was also elected as a Member of the Central Municipal Council in its first session, representing Constituency 20.
