  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Qatar University (1992).

Parliamentary Career

  Appointed as a Member of the Shura Council in the Second Legislative Term pursuant to Amiri Decision No. (42) of 2025, issued on 9 October 2025.
  Currently serves as a Member of the Committee on Health, Public Services and the Environment.

Professional Experience

  Mr. Al-Musallam has progressed through numerous professional and leadership positions, including:
  Senior HVAC Engineer at the Ministry of Electricity and Water (1996–1999).
Senior Engineer, Engineering Services and Maintenance Department at Doha International Airport (1999–2000).
  Director of the Quality and Conformity Department – Standards and Metrology Affairs (2003–2016).
 President of the Qatar General Organization for Standards and Metrology (2016–2025).ISO (International Organization for Standardization), IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), OIML (International Organization of Legal Metrology), BIPM (International Bureau of Weights and Measures), CODEX (Codex Alimentarius Commission), GSO (GCC Standardization Organization), GCC Accreditation Center, and the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDSMO/SMIIC).
  He also served as a Member of the GCC Conformity Assessment Committee – GSO (2011–2016), and is a Member of the ISO Conformity Assessment Committee (CASCO).
