H.E. Mr. Abdullah bin Nasser bin Turki Al-Subaie

Academic Qualifications:

  Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics, major in Accounting.


Parliamentary Career

  Member of the Shura Council, First Legislative Term (2021–2025).
  Reappointed as a Member of the Shura Council in the Second Legislative Term pursuant to Amiri Decision No. (42) of 2025, issued on 9 October 2025.
  Has served on several Council committees; he served as Vice Chairman of the Social, Labor and Housing Affairs Committee during the Fourth Ordinary Session of the First Legislative Term.
  Currently serves as Chairman of the Committee on Health, Public Services and the Environment, and Member of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee.
  In February 2025, H.E. was re-elected Vice President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) and Member of the Bureau, for the second consecutive term, during the 19th General Assembly held in Rome, Italy.


Professional Experience

  Mr. Al-Subaie advanced through various administrative positions at the Ministry of Education.
He later moved to the Civil Aviation Authority, where he served as:
  Director of the Shared Services Department.
  President of the Civil Aviation Authority.
  He also chaired several major national aviation committees, including:
  Steering Committee for the Hamad International Airport Expansion.
  Committee for the Development and Expansion of Qatari Airspace.
  He supervised a number of strategic national projects, such as:
  The proposal for establishing the Doha Flight Information Region (Doha FIR).
  The establishment of the Mekaines Weather Radar Station.
  H.E. has been appointed to several significant international committees, including:
  The Executive Committee for Civil Aviation in the GCC.
  The Executive Council of the Arab Civil Aviation Organization.
