Parliamentary Career

  Member of the Shura Council, First Legislative Term (2021–2025).
  Reappointed as a Member of the Shura Council in the Second Legislative Term pursuant to Amiri Decision No. (42) of 2025, issued on 9 October 2025.
  Has served on several Council committees; he currently serves as a Member of the Committee on Health, Public Services and the Environment, and a Member of the Social, Labor and Housing Affairs Committee.

Professional Experience

  Dr. Al-Mohannadi has held a number of prominent academic and leadership roles, including:
Faculty member and Vice Dean of the College of Engineering at Qatar University.
  Founder of the Computer and Information Systems Department at the Ministry of Interior, and later appointed as its Director.
  Director of the Statistics Department at the Planning Council.
  Founder and Director of the e-Government Program, and later Senior Advisor at the Supreme Council for Information and Communication Technology (ictQATAR).
  Member of the Supreme Council for the Environment.
  Member of the Board of Directors of the Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa).
  Deputy Chairman of the Amateur Radio Society.
  Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Life Pharma (the first pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Qatar).
