Mr. Al-Marri has held numerous senior military leadership positions, including:
Commander of the 7th Mirage Squadron (1985–1986).
Commander of the Air Defense Wing (1985–1990).
Commander of the Air Operations Center (1990–1992).
Director of Operations, Planning, and Training (1992–1996).
Commander of the Qatar Amiri Air Force (1996–2002).
He has completed several advanced military courses, including:
Air Command and Staff College, USAF – Maxwell AFB (1988–1989).
Air War College, USAF – Maxwell AFB (1994–1995).
He has participated in numerous local and international conferences and seminars, contributed to the establishment and development of the Joint Gulf Defense within the GCC framework, and delivered lectures at various military institutes inside and outside Qatar. He currently serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees of Qatar Leadership Academy.
