A Shura Joint Committee Discusses a Bill on Press & Publications

A Joint Committee of the Shura Council formed by the Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs, and the Committee for Cultural Affairs and Information held today its first meeting at the 48Th, Session of the Council.
At the beginning of the meeting the JC unanimously elected His Excellency Mr. Nasser bin Rashid bin Sarea Al- Kaabi, as a rapporteur.
During the meeting, the JC discussed a Draft Law Regulating the Press, Publishing, Publications, Media Activities and the Arts, and decided to complete its study at its next meeting.
