Shura Council Participates in Parliamentary Seminar on COVID-19 and Climate Change

The Shura Council participated today in a parliamentary seminar on COVID-19 and climate change'. The seminar was organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN), and Parliamentarians for the Global Goals (PFGG) via video conference technology.
During the seminar in which a number of experts in various fields took part, discussions focused on how to tackle the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, which could have long-term effects, in support of the Paris Climate Agreement and the sustainable development goals.
HE Nasser bin Khalil Al Jaidah, member of the Council, represented the Shura Council at the seminar.
