The Shura Council State of Qatar

H. E. Mr. Ahmed Bin Abdulla Bin Zaid Al-Mahmoud, Speaker of the Shura Council received this morning a message from His Excellency Mr. Mohamed Al-Halbusi, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the sisterly Republic of Iraq, containing an invitation to His Excellency the Speaker of the Shura Council to visit Iraq. 

The message was delivered by His Excellency Mr. Omar Ahmed Karim Al- Berrzinji, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to Qatar, during his meeting with His Excellency the Speaker of the Shura Council. 

During the meeting they discussed the bilateral relations between the two sisterly countries and ways to enhance and develop them, especially in the parliamentary area. They have also reviewed a number of topics of common interest.

  The meeting was attended by a number of officials of the Shura Council.
