Speaker of Shura Council Meets Palestinian, Iraqi Counterparts

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud met Saturday with HE Speaker of the Palestinian National Council Saleem Zaanoun, on the sidelines of the 30th extraordinary conference of Inter-Parliamentary Union (APU) being held in Jordan.
During the meeting, they reviewed parliamentary cooperation relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing existing cooperation in this field, in addition to discussing the most important topics on the agenda of the conference.
On the sidelines of the conference, HE the Speaker of the Shura Council met with HE Speaker of Iraq's Council of Representatives Mohammad Al Halbousi.
The meeting reviewed parliamentary cooperation relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them, in addition to issues on the conference's agenda.
The two meetings were attended by chairman of the Qatari-Arab parliamentary friendship committee Saqr bin Fahd Al Muraikhi, and a number of the Shura Council's members.
