Shura Council Partakes in Parliamentary Meeting on Women and Economy

The Shura Council participated in a parliamentary meeting on "Women and the family-based economy", held virtually by the Iranian consultative assembly and the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.

Discussions during the meeting focused on how to create economic dynamism through the cohesion and integration of women and the family in societies between Asian countries, and the policies and strategies that countries should adopt in order to reduce poverty, unemployment and social inequality in their societies and eliminate them while meeting the primary and secondary needs of the family.

The Shura Council was represented in the meeting by its members HE Dr Aisha Bint Yousuf Al Mannai, and HE Dr Hind bint Abdulrahman Al Muftah.
