Deputy Speaker of Shura Council Holds Meetings on the sidelines of the 16th session of the Conference of the Union of Islamic Cooperation Councils

HE Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council Dr. Hamda bint Hassan Al-Sulaiti met today with a number of parliamentarians on the sidelines of her participation in the work of the sixteenth session of the PUIC Conference and the accompanying meetings, currently being held in Istanbul, the sisterly Republic of Turkey.
The Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council met with HE Muhammad Qureshi Nias, Secretary-General of the Union of Councils of Member States of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, HE Waheed Kilar, Chairman of the Qatari-Turkish Friendship Group in the Turkish Parliament, and HE Qasim Khan Suri, a member of the Pakistani National Council.
During the meeting, they discussed several topics on the agenda of the 16th PUIC Conference, exchanged views on requests for the inclusion of emergency or additional items on the agenda of the conference, and reviewed coordination of efforts and joint cooperation among the members of the group.
