Speaker of Shura Council Arrives in Ankara

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud arrived Wednesday in the Turkish capital, Ankara, on several days visit at the invitation of HE Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Sentop.
HE the Speaker of the Shura Council and the accompaniyng delegation were welcomed upon arrival by President of the Qatari-Turkish Parliamentary Friendship Group Vahit Kiler and HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Turkey Salem bin Mubarak Al Shafi.
During the visit, HE the Speaker of the Shura Council will hold meetings with ranking officials, as well as signing a memorandum of understanding between the Shura Council and the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, aiming at strengthening the bonds of friendship and promoting the parliamentary cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
