Speaker of the Shura Council Meets Ambassadors of Spain, Sweden, and Peru

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud held here today separate meetings with HE Ambassador of the Kingdom of Spain Belen Alvaro Hernandez and HE Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden Ewa Polano.
The two meetings discussed the respective bilateral ties between the State of Qatar on one side and the Kingdom of Spain and the Kingdom of Sweden on the other side, and the means to enhance them in the parliamentary field. They also reviewed preparations of the 140th General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union and its accompanying meetings, which will take place in Doha in April.
HE the Speaker of the Shura Council also met with HE Ambassador of the Republic of Peru Carlos Velasco Mendiola, whose term in office ended.
The meeting focused on bilateral ties, particularly in the parliamentary field. HE the Speaker of the Shura Council wished HE the ambassador well in future missions, and for further progress and prosperity for bilateral ties.
