The Shura Council State of Qatar

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud met with HE Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Marzouq bin Ali Al Ghanim, on the sidelines of the 14th session of the Conference of Union of Councils of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States and the associated meetings held in Rabat.

During the meeting, they discussed aspects of cooperation and bilateral relations between the two countries in the parliamentary field, means of enhancing and developing them, in addition to discussing the most important topics on the agenda of the Conference of the Union of Councils of the OIC Member States.

The two sides also reviewed the preparations of the State of Qatar to host the 140th session of the General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in April.

The meeting was attended by a number of members of the Shura Council.
