Shura Council Participates in Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union Executive Committee Meeting

The Shura Council took part today in the meeting of the 28th session of the Executive Committee of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, within the framework of the 32nd Conference of Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union which will kick off in Cairo Thursday under the title "Arab Solidarity".
The Shura Council was represented at the meeting by HE Dr. Sultan bin Hassan Al Dabet Al Dosari, member of the Council, and HE Dr. Ahmed bin Nasser Al Fadala, the Secretary-General of the Council.
During the meeting, the Committee discussed the amendment of the charter and the internal system of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, and the report of the Secretary-General of the Union, in addition to a number of topics on the agenda, including the Union's draft budget for the current year, and the report of the Special Committee on the Arab Parliamentary Excellence Award.
