Shura Council Participates in Parliamentary Webinar on SDGs and Implementation in Light of COVID-19 Pandemic

The Shura Council participated Tuesday in a parliamentary webinar on "Building a better future where nobody is left behind: How can parliaments ensure that COVID-19 recovery strategies are in line with the SDGs?", organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP).
During the webinar, talks focused on the SDGs and their implementation in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic, the exchange of views and suggestions among the participants on how to accelerate the development steps in the region, and to ensure that COVID-19 recovery strategies help in achieving the 2030 SDGs.
The Shura Council was represented in the seminar by HE Member of the Council Yousif Bin Rashid Al Khater.
