Shura Council Participates in Celebrating International Equal Pay Day

The Shura Council participated on Friday, through video conference technology, in the celebration of the first International Equal Pay Day, which was organized by the Equal Pay International Coalition (EPIC), in cooperation with the International Labor Organization, UN Women, and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
During the ceremony, a number of participants spoke about how to effectively combat gender discrimination and commit to more measures to achieve equal pay for work of equal value.
The Shura Council was represented in this event by HE Dr. Aisha bint Yousef Al Mannai, member of the Council.
