The Shura Council Participates in Parliamentary Meeting on MENA Recovery

The Shura Council participated in a parliamentary meeting on economic recovery the Middle-East and North Africa by designing comprehensive, sustainable, and adaptable policies. The meeting was organized by The Parliamentary Network on the World Bank and International Monetary Fund via video conference.

Talks focused on a number of subjects related to the recovery. They included vaccines, governance, reforms, debt, climate change, and the role parliamentarians play in ensuring transparency and the availability of aid to face the crisis and build a more sustainable economic recovery.

The Shura Council was represented in the meeting by member of the council Nasser bin Sultan Al Humaidi.
