Shura Council Participates in Meeting on Women Leaders' Role in Addressing COVID-19 Pandemic

The Shura Council participated in a meeting, held today via video conferencing technology, on the role of women leaders in addressing the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The meeting brought together the G20 Health and Development, the Women Political Leaders foundation (WPL), and Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND).

It discussed the role of women leaders in addressing the coronavirus pandemic and highlighted good and effective practices for the participation of women leaders worldwide and their role in controlling this pandemic and reducing its spread.

The Shura Council was represented in the meeting by HE Reem bint Mohammed Al Mansoori, a member of the Council and Ambassador of the Women Political Leaders in the State of Qatar.
