Shura Council's Special Committee on Marriage Holds Meeting

The Shura Council's Special Committee for studying of "Aspects Associated with Marriage" held a meeting on Sunday, in the presence of HE Speaker of the Shura Council Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim.
During the meeting, chaired by HE Chairman of the Committee Ali bin Shabib Al Attiyah, the Committee continued its discussions on the negative aspects and behaviors associated with marriage, which constitute a burden on the family and impede young people from marriage. The Committee identified a number of aspects related to its field of work, and put forward inquiries related to the societal, family and institutional aspects of those behaviors.
HE the Speaker of the Shura Council stressed the need to develop appropriate solutions and organizational procedures to address and limit these negative aspects.
After discussions, the Committee decided to address the concerned authorities to inquire about a number of points related to the aforementioned topic.
