HH the Amir Sends Condolences to Victims' Families of Christchurch Mosques

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani extended his and the Qatari people's condolences to the families of the victims of the terrorist attack on two mosques in Christchurch, New Zealand. HE Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud conveyed the condolences, during his visit to the city on Saturday.

During his visit to Al Noor mosque, HE the Speaker expressed condolences to a number of imams and sheikhs and called upon Allah Almighty to grant the victims mercy and peace. His Excellency also visited those injured in the terrorist attack in the hospital, wishing them a speedy recovery.

HE Speaker of the Shura Council left Christchurch, New Zealand, later today, where he was seen off by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to New Zealand Saad bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud.
