Shura Council Speaker Arrives in Burkina Faso

HE Speaker of the Shura Council Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud arrived Tuesday in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, to participate in the 15th session of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) Conference and the accompanying meetings which will last for several days.

HE the Speaker of the Shura Council and the accompanying delegation were welcomed upon arrival by HE Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Burkina Faso Alassane Bala Sakande, and Acting Charge d'affaires of Qatar's embassy in Benin Hussein Ibrahim Al Bader. HE the Speaker of the Shura Council said that the 15th session of the PUIC Conference includes important topics to be discussed by political and economic committees, human rights committee and other committees.

Following his arrival in Ouagadougou, HE the Speaker of the Shura Council expressed his sincere thanks to the President, Government and People of the Republic of Burkina Faso for the good preparation and organization of this conference and for the warm reception given to the Qatari delegation, wishing success to the activities of the conference.
