The Shura Council State of Qatar

The Shura Council participated on Tuesday in a meeting on cross-regional cooperation and the role it plays in in shaping resilient economic recovery. The meeting was held by the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-Speaking Countries (TURKPA) and the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union for the Mediterranean (PAUfM), via videoconferencing.

During the meeting, they exchanged views on policies and legislative strategies to accelerate economic recovery in the two regions, and discussed the best ways to ensure that economic recovery policies are properly aligned with green and digital transformation strategies, as well as develop cooperation in the field of vaccines and strengthen solidarity in order to achieve economic recovery.

During the meeting, the Shura Council was represented by HE Member of Council Ali bin Abdullatif Al Misnad Al Muhanadi.
